I voted after work today. I was expecting it to be crowded…I got there about 5:15. But when I got inside, there was only a line of two people. One volunteer mentioned they’d been busy today though. When I voted last year, it was probably around 7 pm and I’d had to wait in a 20 minute line or so. This morning my mom had to wait in line for 40 minutes but my dad went later in the afternoon and got right in. Both dad and I voted for Kerry.
I’m glad I voted…Pennsylvania is a swing state with pretty many electoral votes. In 2000, Gore won PA by 50.6% over Bush’s 46.4%. The prediction right now is Kerry 49%, Bush 48%. Very close.
