I wonder sometimes why I didn’t start keeping a list sooner of the books I read and when. I didn’t start until I found the Year of Reading Clique last January. I love looking back over it. I’m not very specific with it. Sometimes I’ll list a book in a month but I may have started it a few days before the end of the month or it might have taken me into the next month to read it. I just list it usually in the month that I read a majority of it in. But not always. Sometimes I’ll be updating and add a book I just started and it might take me awhile to get through (such as the Wheel of Time books).

Lately a lot of my reading time has been taken up by cross-stitching. Cross-stitching gives you something to show for your time. Reading doesn’t really, except to yourself. I’ve been trying to spend more time reading though. I’m trying to find a good balance between the two. Not to mention my other often neglected hobbies such as art things and other crafts. I’d also like to spend more time on my websites. Unfortunately my time is limited now that I’m back at school. Not as limited as it should be…I haven’t read anything from the textbooks yet although I really do need to.

  • I think I’ll make a list like that. Too bad I didn’t think of it sooner!

    Thanks for the idea. :)

  • I want to make a list like that too, though it’s going to be pathetic because I’m STILL reading The Great Hunt! I’m about halfway finished with it now though.
