I live in Pennsylvania. Normally by New Years, we have had several significant snowfalls. This year, we’ve had maybe two days of very light flurries that didn’t last very long and of course didn’t stick. No freezing rain or icy conditions either. Last week it was rather cold, in the teens and twenties, but other than that it’s been between the 30s and 50s.
I really really hope I’m not jinxing us by writing this. I do not want snow. Or freezing rain. Or really cold weather. I just looked at the weather report and it’s supposed to be in the 50s and high 40s next week. Granted, it’s supposed to rain everyday, but as long as we actually get those temperatures and the rain doesn’t turn into snow or freezing rain, I can deal with it. I know we have two and a half more months of winter and chances are about 100% that we will get snow and ice sometime, but I can dream can’t it?
