Linen ‘N Things just called here. I set up an interview for next Tues at 10 am. I asked about the number of hours and she said between 15-25. She said the girl who was leaving in mid-May worked about 25 hours. That would be good, I think. I’d have to work 5 days a week, compared to three or four at the library.
I’m still going to keep my library interview appointment, in case I don’t get offered a job at Linen ‘N Things. I think I have a good shot at getting that job. I have a ton of retail experience and wide open availablitity. I’m not sure what it’s for though…they’re hiring for cashier types and specialists (wedding, kitchen, etc). I don’t know what I’d like doing there. I guess I’ll find out Tuesday what all is available.
I don’t know how much they make there, but I doubt it’s less than the $6.50 at the library. I’d get an employee discount, which would be nice.
For both jobs I’d have to deal with customers, which doesn’t thrill me, but I don’t know which I’d rather work at. Of course the money would be better at Linen ‘N Things, but I’d rather be around books than towels.

good luck with the interviews!
