Joe and I had a really good weekend together. I don’t know when the last time we got to spend a weekend together was…probably when we visited his family in January. But that doesn’t really count since it was a trip. He never had weekends off at his job at Earthlink. He starts tomorrow at Sprint and he’ll have weekends off throughout his training (7 weeks). It’ll be nice.
I applied tonight online for a part-time job as a marketing and production assistant. The only requirements were internet knowledge, html, and photoshop experience. It would be 20 hours a week at $9.50 an hour. The ad didn’t say what company it was for. I’m not extremely hopeful I’ll get it. It’s one of those jobs you’d like to get, but you don’t really expect you will and you apply anyway. Although, the tv station job was like that and I did almost get that one. I’m also considering applying for this data entry job at a bank. You work 20-30 hours a week. You start at 2:30 or 3:30 and work until you finish for the night. I assume it’s 5 days a week but I’m not sure. Mom thinks it might be for entering in canceled checks or something similar. It sounds like it would easy and the hours are good ones (since Joe will probably be working nights). But it also sounds really boring. I’d only be working there a year probably till I was done with my degree but still. That’s a long time. When I think about doing that, I’d almost rather do retail. Retail is at least somewhat interesting. I’m not in an extreme hurry to get a job. I can’t start until the beginning of May anyway because of classes.
